From the first conversation I had with Carrie and Nick, I knew we were meant to work together! A Lakeside wedding in Holland Michigan with bold colors and a Kate Spade twist?! Be still my heart! I absolutely adored getting to know them as well as Carrie’s parents throughout the planning process. This was such a fun event to design since it completely spoke to me in every way. The amazing vendor team came together seamlessly and made the day just perfect.
The style of this group was spot on, the ladies in their navy dresses and the gentlemen in those seersucker suits, it could not have been better! It pulled the entire day together. When creating a design for your wedding day, do not discount how everything from the dresses to the suits all the way to the napkins and place settings can tie together to create a seamless event.
Carrie and Nick arrived at Boatwerks Restaurant for cocktail hour and dinner by boat. It was such a fun way for them to arrive to their guests.
Isn’t the Black River Ballroom at Boatwerks lovely? It is one of our favorite venues to plan a Lakeside Wedding in Holland at.
Those favors! Are they not the cutest thing you have ever seen? Nothing beats a chocolate windmill when your wedding is being held in Holland!
We created this boxwood wall as a backdrop for the dessert table. I love the way the cake stands out against the green. And, of course, the sign “Let Them Eat Cake” was a super fun touch.
